Glyph Trash is a generative art experiment that takes user typed glyphs and blasts it off as projectiles. Over time these glyphs build up producing abstract images. It uses the fonts installed on your computer and was created by Ben Rhoades in 2006.

I did not find it very compelling. Here is a video demonstration of my session using glyph trash.

Viscosity is an abstract art creator by Jeff Weir that won the Best Art award at SXSW. "It allows anyone to create beautiful pieces of abstract art in a matter of minutes or hours, depending on how much time you spend on the details. You can choose from a preset block of colors, which can be completely customized, and then you simply drag various brushes through the lines to create your art. If you’re into detail, you can also drag each point of color into a specific location on your virtual canvas.

Flypaper Studio, a startup that allows users to create flash-based web presentations without any programming experience, has closed a $3.5 million round of funding. The round was led by Sierra Ventures and SCF Arizona, and brings the company’s total funding to around $6.5 million.

The Human Calendar, created by Craig Giffen is an offshoot of the Human Clock project, that uses pictures of human beings to represent calendar date.

In order to achieve your full potential you need to understand what constitutes a high achiever. You can probably think of several people who you consider to be highly successful in one area of their lives, work for example, but are lacking in other areas such as home or family life. Successfulness and happiness go hand in hand with regards to achieving your full potential. Once you have determined what will make you happy and have worked to achieve that, then success is a given and vice-versa. Keeping this in mind, it is important to point out that if you set unrealistic goals for yourself you are simply prolonging your unhappiness. The key in realizing your full potential is to be completely honest in your assessment of your potential.

SproutBuilder is a drag-and-drop Flash authoring tool built with Adobe's Flex. SproutBuilder lets you create "widgets, banners, mini-sites, mashups for your website, Myspace, Facebook and more for free." Its makers refer to the sprouts as 'living content'. In just a few minutes I was able to create a Potent Mind sprout by modifying one of the pre-built sprouts that you can use as a template. The sprout includes the site's twitter feed and two videos from the Youtube channel.
