Glyph Trash Review
Submitted by Aspire on Sat, 04/05/2008 - 16:14.Glyph Trash is a generative art experiment that takes user typed glyphs and blasts it off as projectiles. Over time these glyphs build up producing abstract images. It uses the fonts installed on your computer and was created by Ben Rhoades in 2006.
I did not find it very compelling. Here is a video demonstration of my session using glyph trash.

SproutBuilder Interactive Drag and Drop Widget Maker

SproutBuilder lets you create "widgets, banners, mini-sites, mashups for your website, Myspace, Facebook and more for free." Its makers refer to the sprouts as 'living content'. In just a few minutes I was able to create a Potent Mind sprout by modifying one of the pre-built sprouts that you can use as a template. The sprout includes the site's twitter feed and two videos from the Youtube channel.
