Make Yourself an Expert
Submitted by Aspire on Wed, 04/30/2008 - 16:04.If you have ever wondered why it seems that some people are more prone to be experts than others you are probably not alone. Many people think that experts were born with some sort of aura around them that points them to the perfect place at the perfect time and allows them to know all. This simply is not true. The only real difference between an expert and an amateur, in anything, is that experts know that in order to succeed they must never give up.

Productivity for Creative purposes
Submitted by Aspire on Sat, 02/23/2008 - 16:51.Productivity helps you to be … well productive. We all need to be more productive in both our personal live and our professional lives. This is particularly true if your profession revolves around creativity or anything artistic. For example, if you are a writer, then you are among those who have artistic and creative professions. Using productivity methods and tips is highly important, as artistic types tend to wander from the subject and lose time that could be used for working.

BlueParrott Roadwarrior B150 Wireless Headset review
Submitted by Gearhead on Fri, 03/14/2008 - 17:47.A wireless headset is one piece of technology that can make your life very easy. You can continue to type or collect information during a phone call and you do not have the aggravation of trying to balance the phone between your shoulder and your ear while filing or doing other things that you need to get done. Our favorite use for a headset is in speech recognition. Setup a voice recognition program like Dragon Naturally Speaking or the built in speech recognition in Windows Vista and you can use a headset to dictate your thoughts straight to text.

"Perhaps even more shocking, the study reveals that not working significantly decreases worker productivity, sometimes even resulting in no work getting done at all. Similar findings were reported in the areas of avoiding work, putting off work, complaining about work instead of actually working, pretending to work, and f**king around."
Keeping Yourself Motivated
Submitted by Aspire on Fri, 04/11/2008 - 18:46.Lack of motivation is a common occurrence. First you get hit with the motivation to get something done. Whether it is finishing a big project or simply organizing your workspace. You get excited that you are ready to finally finish the task. The only problem is once you have started you lose your motivation to finish. This happens to everyone. Motivation is something that must be constantly nurtured in order for it to survive. Many people, once they have lost the motivation to see a project through, give up completely and never finish the project.
